Manager Finance & Control

Angrisa Group, with well-known names like Want 2 Work and Stuwarooij under its belt, is a healthy family business in Zaltbommel. We pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial spirit, short lines of communication and the fact that we just do things. We are currently in an exciting phase: founder/CEO Bertie (type: 'show me the numbers, clear please') is slowly but surely handing over the baton to son/COO Bart (type: 'give me the insights to grow, people first!'). This creates a unique dynamic in which you as our new financial pivot will be at the centre. We are not looking for a wallflower, but an experienced RA who can navigate, build and make an impact.

What will you do?

Position: Financial rock and future builder

Forget 'you ask, we turn'. We are looking for a Manager Finance & Control who takes the wheel himself. You start with a clear assignment: build, together with your team, a rock-solid, future-proof finance & control organisation. This means creating a structure that makes Bertie happy (think: flawless reports, well-defined processes, risks under control) and at the same time being the proactive, critical sparring partner Bart needs to grow (think: clear analyses, BI insights that really help steer, finance as a business enabler).

So you are a bit of a chess player: you have to understand the needs of both gentlemen, sometimes bridge the gap, and always ensure financial clarity and control. You also play an important role within the Management Team, helping to build the organisation's growth and providing your colleagues with the necessary steering information. But above all, you are a builder: you lay the foundation and build the walls for a finance department that is ready for the future. When that foundation is in place? Then we'll talk seriously about the keys to the CFO room.

Specifically, what will you do?

Pour foundation & erect walls:

  • You will design and implement tight financial processes and a reporting structure that says YOU.
  • You professionalise the department and the systems (Exact, BI - make something great!).
  • You ensure crystal-clear figures - always correct and on time
  • As part of the MT, you will also build the strategy of organisation

Guarding the treasure chest (and defeating the dragons):

  • You make sure the financial records are running (deb/cred/gl/payroll - it has to be right!).
  • You identify and manage financial risks - no surprises please.
  • You draw up budgets and forecasts and explain in great detail where the differences lie.
  • Compliance? You take care of that too.
  • You will be the point of contact for accountant, bank, insurance and the Tax Office (don't be fooled).

The crystal ball & sharply honed advice:

  • You will dive deep into the figures and fish out gems of insights that will help your fellow MT members move forward.
  • You are that critical but constructive sparring partner for Bertie and Bart. You dare to ask questions and give unsolicited advice.
  • You translate 'finance-speak' into understandable language for the rest of the organisation.
  • You help make smart decisions on investments, costs and margins.

Inspire your team (People First, Remember?):

  • You will lead, coach and develop your team (Controller, Assistant Controller, Administrator, etc.) - make them even better!
  • You provide an atmosphere where hard work is done but laughter can also be had.
  • You are clear about expectations and help your people grow.

Diplomacy for the advanced:

  • You will build relationships with management, the MT and the rest of the club.
  • You communicate like a pro: clearly, directly, persuasively, but also with a sense of proportion.

What do you bring?

Our wishes:

  • RA title in the pocket.
  • 15 to 20 years experience on the counter in serious finance roles (Controller, Manager F&C, etc.). You have swum through some waters.
  • You have demonstrably built: set up processes, improved reporting, structured departments. You have not been a 'passenger'.
  • At home in complex SME structures (holding/family business is a big plus).
  • Knows reporting standards, taxation and AO/IC like the back of your hand.
  • Handy with modern ERP/BI systems.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
  • Dutch and English you speak professionally.

Your superpowers:

  • Analytically sharp as a samurai sword, but you can also zoom out.
  • Critical (in a good way) - you don't believe everything and ask through.
  • Communication star: you can make a complex story simple and get your message across, even when it is difficult. Empathy is not a dirty word.
  • Proactive: you don't wait, you create opportunities and solve problems before they become big. You know yourself what is a priority.
  • Structured: you bring order to chaos and keep deadlines sacred.
  • Persuasive and organisation-sensitive: you understand how hares run.
  • Flexible and stress-resistant: changes don't bother you, you adapt.

You as a person:

  • You stand firm and have a straight back.
  • Integrity to the core.
  • Quality is of paramount importance to you.
  • Curious: you want to know the ins and outs.
  • Practical and results-oriented.
  • You combine the need for structure (hello Bertie!) with a view to the future (hello Bart!).

What do we offer you?

  • The opportunity to make your mark on the financial future of a beautiful, growing family business.
  • A role where you can really build and make a difference. Not a prepared bed, but very rewarding.
  • A clear runway towards the CFO position if you show your worth.
  • Direct lines of communication with the owners - you are close to the fire.
  • A dynamic environment where no day is the same (promise!).
  • Naturally, a good salary and excellent fringe benefits.
