History

For more than 30 years...

Always in motion

It all started with a small road construction company in a brickworks in Nederhemert. Founder Bertie van Rooij, together with his father, saw opportunities in the stevedoring sector and that was the start of something beautiful. The history of Stuwadoorsbedrijf van Rooij goes back to before 1989, when they started transferring containers.

Since 1989, the company has been known as Stuwarooij. We take pride in our role as a logistics service provider, where security, trust and quality are key.

Soon the demand for more staff came from the market, and so a temporary employment agency was set up alongside Stuwarooij, renamed Want 2 Work in 1992. Both companies form the basis of the Angrisa Group as you know it today.

Establishment of Stuwarooij B.V.

Started as a company in road construction, working in a brickworks in Nederhemert. Seized the opportunities in stevedoring to grow further. Since 1989, a proud logistics service provider where security, trust and quality are paramount.

Establishment of Want 2 Work B.V.

Started as a company in road construction, working in a brickworks in Nederhemert. Seized the opportunities in stevedoring to grow further. Since 1989, a proud logistics service provider where security, trust and quality are paramount.
14-08-1992

Establishment A.W. van Rooij Verhuur B.V.

To provide accommodation and mobility for the international employees of Stuwarooij and Want 2 Work, A.W. van Rooij Verhuur B.V. was established in 2004.

Boss of the year award

Our people are justifiably proud of their company, whose captain Bertie van Rooij won the prestigious title 'Boss of the Year' in 2007. A trophy you don't just get as an employer.

Establishment of Certa Rental B.V.

After Van Rooij Rental B.V., which was completely internally focused, we saw the opportunity to become active externally as well, with a new name and image. This was the creation of Certa Rental B.V.

Establishment of Facts & Numbers B.V.

With centralisation as its main goal, Facts & Numbers is a steering/serving component to the other organisations within the overall Group. F&N supports in the areas of Finance, HR, Marketing, Facility and Recruitment.

Purchase agreement for new headquarters

All entities will jointly occupy the new premises at Van Voordenpark 16, in Zaltbommel. This forms a new basis for the future, synergy of one group and better facilities for employees

Birth of Angrisa Group

By rebranding the Angrisa Group as an umbrella group rather than a management company, we are creating a solid resource for sustainable employment across the entire organisation.

Bart van Rooij, current COO of The Angrisa Group is nominated and a finalist for the entrepreneur of the year award, presented by Jong Management VNO-NCW.
